POSITON NAME: Audit Senior/Supervisor
Job Responsibilities and Duties
May include, but not limited to:
- Be familiar with handling clients, resolving matters and develop a good relationship with them
- Planning the audit
- Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation
- Appraises adequacy of internal control systems by completing audit questionnaires
- Perform audit procedures as prescribed by approved audit programs
- Physical verification of assets and/or stock (this may involve travelling and out-of-town stays)
- Document the fieldwork performed to meet the firm's quality standards
- Communicates audit findings by preparing a final report, discussing findings with all stakeholders
- Finalising audit files (clearing of review notes, issuing of reports, archiving)
- Produce management reports and consider audit points with the clients
- Review audit audit files/work of fellow colleague and/or juniors
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Taxation duties
May include, but not limited to:
- Gathering taxpayer information
- Computing tax computations (Income tax, PAYE, VAT, etc.)
- Attending taxpayer queries
- Attending filing of returns (ITAS and/or manual)
- Resolving taxpayer issues
- Registration of taxes and other related services

May include, but not limited to:
- Office admin, which could include filing, attend the reception desk or running errands
Auditor Skills and Qualification:
May include, but not limited to:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, financial management, or relevant subject
- Completed professional articles
- Keen attention to detail
- Flexible and willing to travel
- Must possess logic reasoning and math skill
- Must possess of excel
- Must be exceptional in calculations
- Strong technical know-how (IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, Co Act, Income Tax act, VAT Act, ISAs)
- Must know how to verify documents following the norms
- Must be organized and hardworking
- Financial skill, reporting, and research skills
- Trustworthy, reliable, and honest
- Punctual, reliable and must possess strong communication skill
- Prioritization skills, and time management
