POSITON NAME: Sales Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our
team in Namibia. This pivotal role is responsible for driving new sales, retaining
existing merchants and nurturing strong business relationships within the Namibian market. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales, with a strong preference for experience within the payments or banking industries. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of understanding complex payment solutions and articulating their value to diverse clients.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Identify, prospect, and secure new merchant
accounts in Namibia, actively expanding PAYM8's market share. - Account Management & Retention: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing merchants, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Relationship Nurturing: Proactively engage with key stakeholders, understanding their evolving needs and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling PAYM8's suite of payment solutions.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and new business opportunities within the Namibian payments sector.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the Namibian market, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market feedback to the management team.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of PAYM8's payment gateway solutions, features, and benefits, effectively communicating them to potential and existing clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including technical support, product development, and marketing, to ensure seamless client onboarding and ongoing support.
- Compliance: Ensure all sales activities adhere to relevant industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Strong preference for candidates with prior experience in the payments,
fintech, or banking industries. - Demonstrated ability to drive new business development and manage existing client relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and closing skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Namibia as required.
