Sales and Floor manager

• Provide customer advice on plants, pots garden products and care
• Drive sales and achieve targets
• Manage sales floor, replenishment, plant care and cleanliness
• Great customer service, handle customer queries, complaints and special requests
• Supervise sales at the till, loading of customer deliveries ensure products are loaded according to invoice and in good condition.
• Manage stock levels, receive deliveries, price items, replenish shelves and conduct regular stock checks

Team Leadership

• Supervise, motivate and coach sales assistants and floor team members.
• Train staff on product knowledge, customer service standards, plant care and sales techniques, create tasks, assign duties.
• Lead by example
• Track sales performance, identify opportunities and report other management.

Required qualifications & other

• Experience at least 2-3 years in retail sales preferably garden centre, nursery or home and garden.
• Previous supervisory or floor management experience is an advantage

• Good Customer skills, strong sales ability, friendly, energetic.
• Basic leadership and team skills
• Education Gr 12 or equivalent,
• Horticulture retail management or related qualifications is advantageous.
• Passion for plants
• available for weekends and public holidays
• Valid driver's license
