Are you a proactive Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) professional who believes that world-class manufacturing begins with a culture where every employee goes home safely every day?
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Lead to champion safety excellence, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced food and beverage manufacturing operation. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for an influential HSE professional who thrives on driving organizational change, coaching leaders, improving processes, and creating sustainable safety cultures.
This position is ideal for a candidate who enjoys partnering with operations leadership, implementing best-in-class HSE programs, and leading continuous improvement initiatives that reduce risk, strengthen compliance, and improve environmental performance. Rather than simply maintaining compliance, you will help shape the future of workplace safety by influencing behaviors, improving systems, and fostering a culture where safety is everyone's responsibility.
If you're looking for an opportunity to make a measurable impact while advancing your career with an organization committed to operational excellence, continuous improvement, and employee well-being, we encourage you to explore this opportunity.
As the Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Lead you will serve as the facility's subject matter expert for occupational health, workplace safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory initiatives. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving comprehensive HSE programs that support a culture of zero incidents while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Working closely with plant leadership, production, engineering, maintenance, and corporate HSE teams, the HSE Lead will drive strategic safety initiatives, oversee environmental compliance programs, lead incident investigations, manage corrective actions, conduct risk assessments, and ensure regulatory readiness.

- Conduct routine facility inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
- Lead incident investigations and oversee Root Cause Analysis to identify systemic improvements.
- Develop and monitor corrective and preventive action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Manage the facility's incident reporting system and maintain accurate regulatory documentation.
- Support engineering and operations during new equipment installations, process changes, and capital projects by ensuring HSE considerations are incorporated.
- Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs for employees, supervisors, and managers.
- Partner with Safety Committees and HSE Pillar Teams to drive employee participation and continuous improvement.
- Monitor environmental performance related to waste reduction, energy consumption, emissions, and sustainability initiatives.
- Support ISO management systems, regulatory audits, and internal compliance reviews.
- Analyze safety and environmental performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend strategic improvements.
- Build strong partnerships with operational leaders to achieve full organizational engagement in HSE initiatives.
- Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to strengthen safety systems, environmental performance, and operational excellence.
Why Professionals Are Interested in This Opportunity
