Freelance Opportunity: SAP ABAP Developer with BRIM

Role: SAP ABAP Consultant (BRIM)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong exposure to BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) to support ongoing implementations and enhancements. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in ABAP and hands-on experience working within BRIM modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms
  • Work extensively on BRIM components such as SOM, CC, CI, and FI-CA
  • Develop and optimize RICEFW objects
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Handle integration with external systems using IDocs, RFCs, Web Services, and APIs
  • Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and debugging
  • Support testing, deployment, and production issues

Required Skills

  • 6+ years of strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP
  • Proven experience in SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management)
  • Expertise in:
    • Reports, Enhancements, Forms (SmartForms/Adobe Forms)
    • BADI, BAPI, User Exits
    • ALE/IDocs, RFC, OData services
  • Good understanding of FI-CA and subscription-based billing models
  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
  • Experience working in Agile environments

Good to Have

  • Exposure to S/4HANA
  • Knowledge of SAP Convergent Charging / Convergent Invoicing
  • Experience with integration tools or middleware

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup
  • Quick learner with problem-solving mindset
