Offir Schwartz is the CEO of Capcon Networks, an Internet Services Provider serving small to mid-sized network operators, institutions, and web-centric businesses with fast, reliable internet access. Founded in 2017, Capcon Networks focuses on bridging connectivity gaps in rural areas while expanding to serve K-12 schools and healthcare institutions. We are looking for a Virtual Assistant to support the CEO in both business and personal tasks. The right person will be highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, ensuring priorities are handled smoothly. What matters most is freeing the CEO's time, managing details with accuracy, and helping him stay focused on key priorities.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Keep the CEO organized at home and work
  • Manage calendar and schedule travel, hotels, tradeshows, and events
  • Clear noise from inbox, filter emails, and handle routine correspondence
  • Book personal appointments and arrangements for family
  • Coordinate local resources in Austin (mail, bank deposits, etc.)
  • Manage tasks in QuickBase (ERP/CRM)
  • Support weekly and daily check-ins by tracking priorities and highlighting key actions
  • Be the first point of contact and act as an extension of the CEO
  • Proactively find opportunities to free up time and increase efficiency
  • Help remember important dates, events, and commitments
  • Have the confidence to speak as the CEO and delegate when appropriate

In addition to the above, the ideal candidate must be/have:

  • Organized, detail oriented, accurate, and thorough
  • Strong with follow-up, follow-through, and keeping others accountable to deadlines
  • Skilled at prioritizing, delegating, and managing time efficiently
  • Tactical and comfortable handling spreadsheets, CRM, and database tasks
  • Confident representing the CEO and delegating when appropriate
  • Reliable, self-directed, and results-driven with a commitment to excellence
  • Strong communicator who is concise, purposeful, and adaptable
  • Personable and able to work well with a spontaneous, social, big-picture leader
  • You must be tech savvy and quick to pick up new tools and software

You must have experience with:

  • Office 365
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Excel

Experience with the following is a plus:

  • Microsoft Teams
  • QuickBase
  • QuickBooks Online
  • WordPress

Position Details

  • This is a 1099 contractor position, with the potential to transition to a W2 in the future
  • The position will start at 30 hours per week with the possibility of quickly growing to 40 hours
  • Hours are primarily 8-5 CT, with rare/occasional evening or weekend availability as needed
  • The pay rate is $30 per hour USD
  • Benefits include:

    • Occasional holiday or performance bonuses (not guaranteed)
  • Travel is required for quarterly meetings (domestic)
  • You must be able to pass a background check
