We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor.
An enthusiastic IT professional with 3-4 years of experience to support hosting operations for our NAM locations. This role involves monitoring and maintaining servers, assisting with VMware environments, and performing basic storage administration to help ensure smooth operations and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain physical and virtual servers.

• Assist in the administration of VMware environments (deployment, configuration, troubleshooting).

• Perform basic storage management tasks (allocation, monitoring, and simple issue resolution).

• Support system uptime and performance through routine checks and proactive monitoring.

• Collaborate with senior and global teams for incident and change management.

• Document processes and maintain operational standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3-4 years of experience in server operations or IT support.

• Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux servers.

• Exposure to VMware virtualization.

• Basic understanding of storage technologies.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident/Change Management) is a plus.

• Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
