AV Technician II
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled AV Technician to join our team to provide technical display and sound support for computers.
AV technician will support global AV/UC systems and lead implementation of solutions including RingCentral. Select and evaluate tools based on technical requirements and infrastructure fit. Provide subject matter expertise and guide adoption of new technologies.
RESPONSIBILTIES
- Lead enterprise A/V and video conferencing projects, ensuring proper documentation and timely updates.
- Troubleshoot video issues and support Zoom, Teams, and Webex adoption.
- Recommend and implement process improvements for design and documentation standards.
- Plan and execute upgrades for video and voice technologies, including hardware/software installations.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Project teams for equipment setup and support.
- Provide executive-level support for unified communications.
- Support events, exhibitions, and renovations with A/V and collaboration solutions.
- Deliver Tier 3 support for UC systems and troubleshoot integrations.
- Design and implement end-to-end UC systems; develop and run test plans for performance.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly across all levels and locations.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5years hands on experience as handling audio-visual implementations and/or videoconference network engineering with Cisco Telepresence infrastructure
- Proficient with Cisco endpoints, Control Hub, RingCentral, Webex, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.
- Skilled in infrastructure implementation, project deployment, and system migrations.
- Experience with AV control systems (AMX, Crestron) and production devices (Ross, Blackbox, Dante, Matrox).
- Strong understanding of A/V signal types, routing, and cabling.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results.
- Well-versed in desktop (Windows, Mac), Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, server, and network technologies.
- Experienced in global, team-oriented environments with strong prioritization skills.
