HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting an experienced Clinical Rehabilitation Operations Manager – Outpatient Orthopedics to join one of our valued client partners in Narberth, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will balance direct patient care with operational leadership, mentoring therapists, improving clinical outcomes, and supporting the continued growth of a physician-led orthopedic practice. This role is well suited for a clinician ready to transition into management or an established rehabilitation leader seeking the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of an outpatient physical therapy department while maintaining a clinical caseload.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, and rehabilitation support staff.
- Promote exceptional patient outcomes through evidence-based treatment and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with orthopedic physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor departmental productivity, operational performance, scheduling, and patient satisfaction metrics.
- Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, payer requirements, and organizational clinical standards.
- Assist with strategic planning, workflow improvements, and department growth initiatives.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and operational reporting.
- Foster a positive, patient-centered culture built on teamwork, accountability, and clinical excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain licensure before employment.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent accredited Physical Therapy degree.
- Previous outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinical management experience preferred, or demonstrated readiness to lead.
- Strong clinical decision-making and evidence-based rehabilitation skills.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational, operational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to balance patient care responsibilities with leadership and operational oversight.
- Must currently reside within commuting distance of Narberth, Pennsylvania, or be prepared to relocate independently before employment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience managing outpatient rehabilitation clinics.
- Leadership experience within physician-owned orthopedic practices.
- Strong knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, post-surgical recovery, and manual therapy.
- Experience improving operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and departmental performance.
- Knowledge of Medicare, commercial insurance, and rehabilitation compliance requirements.
- Board Certification or advanced orthopedic rehabilitation certifications.
- Stable employment history demonstrating increasing leadership responsibilities.

- Compensation: $85,000–$126,000 annually
