Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Trial Attorney, you will:

  • Develop and implement litigation strategies focused on protecting and advancing father's rights in Family Law matters.

  • Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions, hearings, trials, and appeals.

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare persuasive arguments to strengthen case positions.

  • Draft, review, and finalize pleadings, motions, trial briefs, and settlement agreements.

  • Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, settlement negotiations, and high-stakes courtroom trials.

  • Collaborate with clients, witnesses, experts, and colleagues to build strong, evidence-based cases.

  • Provide mentorship and leadership to junior attorneys and paralegals, fostering professional growth and development.

  • Stay current with California Family Law statutes, evolving case law, and trial practices.

  • Balance a robust caseload while maintaining a strong client-centered approach.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

  • Active member of the California State Bar, in good standing.

  • 8-10+ years of Family Law trial experience, with a proven track record of courtroom success.

  • Recognized achievements in trial advocacy, particularly in Family Law litigation.

  • Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills, with the ability to craft and deliver compelling arguments.

  • Strong leadership qualities with demonstrated experience mentoring legal staff.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • High ethical standards and a strong commitment to client advocacy.
