Compensation: $115,000 – $140,000 base (commensurate with experience)
Bonus: Performance-based bonus eligibility
Schedule: Monday–Friday (project-based hours as required)
The Opportunity
HireNow Staffing is partnering with a well-established commercial general contractor to identify a seasoned Project Manager for a significant ground-up commercial construction project in Bluffton, SC, with construction slated to begin in mid-2026.
This role is best suited for a Project Manager who is deeply experienced in end-to-end project execution, comfortable owning outcomes in the field, and motivated by delivering complex projects with precision, accountability, and consistency. The successful candidate will be a steady leader who thrives in onsite environments and works seamlessly with Superintendents, subcontractors, and client stakeholders.
Position Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all phases of a large-scale commercial construction project—from early planning through closeout. This role requires direct ownership of budgeting, scheduling, reporting, and coordination, as well as hands-on leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
This is a fully onsite role in Bluffton, SC and requires consistent presence at the job site.
Key Responsibilities
Candidates must demonstrate direct experience with the following responsibilities to be considered:

Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution from preconstruction through closeout

Develop, manage, and maintain project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial reporting

Oversee project schedules, sequencing, and milestone tracking

Partner closely with Superintendents and onsite field teams to ensure alignment and execution

Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and suppliers
-
Manage project documentation, reporting, and internal controls
-
Support change management, risk mitigation, and issue resolution
-
Maintain clear, professional communication with clients and internal stakeholders
-
Ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are upheld throughout construction
Required Qualifications

5–10 years of Project Management experience in commercial construction

Proven experience managing projects from planning through completion

Strong background in budgeting, scheduling, and cost controls
-
Experience working directly with Superintendents and field leadership
-
Ability and willingness to work fully onsite in Bluffton, SC

Stable employment history with demonstrated follow-through on long-term projects

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Highly Important)
Priority consideration will be given to candidates with:

Experience on ground-up healthcare or complex commercial construction projects

Background with a General Contractor (not advisory-only or owners rep roles)

Construction Management degree or equivalent hands-on experience
