HireNow Staffing is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer / Project Manager for a leading civil and environmental engineering firm based in Austin, TX. This is a key leadership role for a highly experienced engineer who thrives on solving complex infrastructure challenges and managing impactful public utility projects.

Position Overview:

You'll take ownership of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through execution. As a senior leader, you'll interface with public agencies, manage multidisciplinary teams, and ensure technical excellence, budget control, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design and execution of water/wastewater treatment, distribution, and collection system projects.

• Prepare detailed engineering reports, permit applications, and construction documents.

• Manage project timelines, budgets, team assignments, and quality assurance.

• Develop and maintain relationships with municipalities, utility districts, and regulatory bodies.

• Mentor junior engineering staff and support business development initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or master's in civil or environmental engineering.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas required.

• 8+ years of progressive engineering experience in water/wastewater systems.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and relevant design software.

• Strong communication, team leadership, and client management skills.
