HireNow Staffing is recruiting on behalf of a well-respected California-based litigation firm that defends some of the nation's most recognizable brands, insurance carriers, and professional sports entities. With a growing presence in Los Angeles, the firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team and play a hands-on role in active litigation without getting lost in a bureaucracy.

What You'll Be Doing
This role offers the chance to take ownership of cases from day one. You'll work directly with clients, partners, and support staff on a full range of litigation tasks.
Responsibilities Include:

Managing a caseload from intake through trial or settlement

Drafting motions, pleadings, and legal correspondence

Conducting depositions, hearings, and settlement negotiations

Collaborating with paralegals and legal assistants to meet deadlines and maintain efficiency

Contributing to firm strategy meetings and participating in client-facing discussions
Qualifications
We're looking for attorneys who are eager to litigate, grow their legal acumen, and be part of a dynamic, high-performing team.
Required:

Active California Bar license in good standing

Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills

Excellent time management and file organization habits

Professionalism and the ability to work both independently and within a team
Preferred:

2-5 years of experience in workers' compensation or insurance defense

New attorneys with relevant internships, clerkships, or mock trial experience are welcome to apply

Comfort in a litigation setting and eagerness to gain courtroom exposure

Enthusiasm for professional development through mentorship and feedback
