The Opportunity
HireNow Staffing is partnering with a top-tier national law firm to identify a seasoned Corporate M&A Associate Attorney to join a market-leading transactional practice advising technology and life sciences companies on some of the most significant deals in the global innovation economy.
This role is designed for associates who have already proven themselves in elite M&A environments and are ready to take on meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and complex deal execution within a highly respected platform.
Position Overview
The Corporate M&A group advises companies across the full lifecycle—from early-stage startups to publicly traded global enterprises—on high-value mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic transactions. Associates are deeply embedded in deal teams and trusted with substantive responsibility throughout the transaction process.
This is a hands-on, fast-moving role for attorneys who thrive in sophisticated transactional environments and value intellectual rigor, collaboration, and long-term career growth.

Education
Candidates must have graduated from a T14 law school, including:

Experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of corporate M&A experience (required)
  • Prior experience at an Am Law 50 firm (required)
  • Strong experience supporting or leading complex M&A transactions
  • Superior academic credentials
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills
  • Stable employment history (no tenures under ~1.5 years)
Bar Admission
  • Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of the intended office or
  • Eligibility to waive in within 3–6 months
  • Sitting for a bar exam is not supported
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will demonstrate experience in the following areas:
  • Supporting and managing complex M&A transactions from inception through closing
  • Running diligence processes and coordinating internal and external deal teams
  • Drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, merger agreements, and ancillary transaction documents
  • Advising technology and life sciences clients on acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic exits
  • Working directly with partners and clients on high-profile, market-moving transactions
  • Collaborating across practice areas to deliver seamless, client-focused solutions
Preferred Qualifications (Highly Valued)
Strong preference will be given to candidates with:
  • 3–5 years of experience handling technology or life sciences M&A transactions
  • Exposure to middle-market and large-cap transactions
  • Comfort taking ownership of deal components and interfacing directly with clients
  • A proactive mindset and strong commercial judgment
  • Interest in building a long-term career within a collaborative, high-performance platform
