The Safety Manager will serve as the visible authority on job sites, ensuring that safety protocols are understood, enforced, and continuously improved across mechanical construction projects including HVAC, piping, sheet metal, and related commercial trades.

Equipment & Emergency Oversight

  • Coordinate with emergency response personnel when necessary.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies during inspections.
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
  • Minimum 7+ years of progressive safety experience within commercial or industrial construction.

  • Experience transitioning or inheriting established safety programs and maintaining continuity.
Work Structure
  • Onsite role based in Dayton, Ohio.
  • Regional daytime travel across Ohio and nearby markets.
  • Monday–Friday schedule aligned with field operations.
Disqualifying Factors
  • No commercial mechanical construction safety experience.
  • Primarily manufacturing-only safety background with no field construction exposure.
