Job Description:
Role Purpose
The Head of HRBP acts as a strategic partner to business leaders, translating business objectives into effective people strategies. This role drives workforce planning, leadership development, industrial relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness across manufacturing operations while ensuring compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Partnership

Partner with Manufacturing Directors, Plant Managers, and Functional Heads to align HR strategy with business and operational goals.

Provide strategic advice on organization design, workforce planning, productivity, and succession planning.

Act as a trusted advisor on people, culture, and leadership matters.
2. Manufacturing & Industrial Relations

Lead and manage industrial relations, including union engagement, collective bargaining agreements (CBA), and dispute resolution.

Ensure harmonious labor relations and compliance with local labor laws and regulations.

Support plant leadership in handling disciplinary actions, grievances, and workforce issues.
3. Talent & Leadership Management
-
Oversee talent planning for critical roles in manufacturing and engineering functions.

Drive leadership development, capability building, and succession planning for plant leadership and key technical roles.

Support recruitment strategy for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing positions.
4. Performance & Organization Effectiveness

Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and corrective actions.

Drive organizational effectiveness initiatives, including culture transformation, engagement, and change management.

Analyze HR data and metrics to support business decisions (turnover, productivity, absenteeism, etc.).
5. HR Governance & Compliance

Ensure implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices across manufacturing sites.

Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety standards, and internal governance.

Partner with COE teams (C&B, Talent, L&D, Payroll) to ensure smooth HR operations.
6. People Leadership

Lead, coach, and develop the HRBP team to deliver high-quality HR services.

Build a strong HR capability within manufacturing sites.
Key Requirements
Education
-
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Law, Business Administration, or related field

Master's degree or HR certification (CHRP, SHRM, CIPD) is a strong advantage
Experience
-
Minimum 10–15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HRBP or HR leadership role

Strong background in manufacturing / industrial / plant-based environments
-
Proven experience handling industrial relations, unions, and CBAs
-
Experience partnering with senior management and plant leadership
