Job Description

We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Legal Manager to oversee and manage all legal aspects of the company's operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law firms, with solid exposure to litigation, corporate legal matters, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all legal functions, including litigation, corporate legal, and advisory services.
  • Handle and oversee litigation cases, including civil and criminal matters, disputes, and legal proceedings.
  • Coordinate with external law firms, legal consultants, and government institutions.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to management on business decisions, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and legal opinions.
  • Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws and regulations in Indonesia.
  • Manage legal risks and develop internal policies to safeguard the company's interests.
  • Support corporate actions such as mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and business expansions.
  • Represent the company in legal matters, including court hearings and dispute resolutions when necessary.
  • Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and advise management accordingly.

General Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (S.H.); Master's Degree (LL.M.) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in legal roles, with prior experience in reputable law firms is mandatory.
  • Strong exposure to litigation handling (civil, commercial, and/or criminal cases).
  • Proven experience in managing legal disputes and working with external counsel.
  • Solid understanding of Indonesian laws and regulations, including corporate, commercial, and labor law.
  • Strong analytical thinking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple legal matters simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team is preferred.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Willing to be based in Medan.
