Main Job Purpose:

Completes electrical projects by supervising installations and resolving design issues. Maintains electrical systems by establishing and enforcing ongoing maintenance schedules and procedures and testing programs, scheduling repairs, and coordinating shutdowns and installations.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for allocation, budgeting, resource planning, and scheduling within the Electrical Engineering Department.
• Development of one line, riser, and schematic diagrams.
• Preparation of drawing and specification packages for engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Fluency in the development of instrumentation and controls design packages.
• Performance of short circuit, relay coordination, and arc-flash studies;
• Preparation of bid packages for requesting proposals for construction;
• Commissioning assistance;
• Power factor correction;
• System studies Short Circuit, Protective settings, Coordination, Harmonics, Motor Starting, Arc Flash;
• Power Quality Studies From load studies to forensic analysis;
• Design and implementation consulting to our clients;
• Drawing package integration;
• Trouble Shooting;
• Failure Analysis;
• Relay programming SEL, Multilin, Basler, SEPAM, Siprotec, and others.

Requirements

• Must be fluent in the use of Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word and other common computer programs;
• Candidate MUST have a BS degree in Electrical Engineering;
• Understand ICAE concept and technology
• Change Management;
• Engineering Generalist;
• Capital Project Management;
• Manufacturing Plant Experience;
• Ability to travel as needed (10% of time);
• Minimum of 8+ years experience as an Electrical Engineer;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Excellent problem solving and project management skills;
• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience;
• Minimum 8 years successfully leading highly innovative and productive EE teams.
