Sales and Marketing Manager (Cocoa Products)

 Job Description:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Super leadership ability / effectively lead the complete sales & marketing activities.
  • Generate leads and establish and nurture client relationships.
  • Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Develop new customers, new products, and new markets; maximize volumes, sales margins, and customer profitability.
  • Create & determine the best route-to-market strategy (direct or indirect) based on end-user profiles & needs.
  • Initiate, create & support marketing/brand-building activities, both, independently & in collaboration with distributors / B2B.
  • Collaborate with a multifunctional team: manufacturing team, finance, HR & GA and marketing and sales to deliver the best customer's experience.
  • Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume and margin against forecasts to managers, and supply chains and identify problems and provide solutions.
  • Produce timely and accurate reports of the business activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree - preferably in international trade, a business/marketing-related, science background / food technology.
  • Background experience in Cocoa Industry is essential.
  • Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing.
  • Fluent in English & Bahasa written & spoken.
  • Five or more years of experience in managing Sales and Marketing in a corporate setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of the National and International B2B sales experience and market - food service, food retail, etc.
  • Good understanding of food industry trends and market updates in the overseas & Indonesian food industry.
  • Self-motivated, solution-oriented, entrepreneurial, excellent communication & interpersonal skills, solid negotiation skills, resilience, team player, independent, ready to travel (at least 60% of the time) & hands-on.
  • Good command of Google-based tools and MS Office.
  • Flexibility to adapt and respond quickly to changing work situations and environments.
