Overview

As the HR Manager for our manufacturing company, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. You will play a crucial role in driving employee engagement, talent management, and fostering a positive work culture. Your strategic approach will be vital in supporting our company's growth and maintaining compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related issues.
  • Implement effective employee relations programs to promote a positive work environment and resolve conflicts.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and take appropriate disciplinary actions when necessary.

Performance Management:

  • Design and implement performance management systems to drive employee productivity and development.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance evaluations, goal setting, and career development plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Coordinate training sessions and workshops on topics such as leadership development, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training initiatives and make adjustments as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Oversee the administration of employee compensation and benefits programs.
  • Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation packages and benefits offerings.
  • Review and analyze compensation data to make recommendations for salary adjustments and incentive programs.

HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date on labor laws and regulations, advising management on necessary actions to maintain compliance.
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures across the organization.

HR Administration:

  • Manage HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other HR-related software systems.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data confidentiality and security.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in HR roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in all aspects of HR management, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
