Job Descriptions of Senior Associate of Corporate Finance

1. Oversee the financial performance of operating subsidiaries of the Group by analyzing the historical KPI and financial data and relevant financial ratios and identifying trends to provide insights to the CFO and the CEO which includes preparing and monitoring a KPI and financial dashboard

2. Manage the company's budget: Develop and manage the annual budget and track performance against it. Work with department heads to ensure that spending aligns with the company's goals and objectives.

3. Evaluate potential investment opportunities: Conduct due diligence on potential acquisitions, joint ventures, and other investment opportunities, and analyze financial data, and market trends to determine the feasibility and profitability of these opportunities.

4. Assist the CFO in managing the company's capital structure by creating and implementing strategies to optimize the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing.

5. Support the CFO in investor relations activities by preparing pitch decks of fundraising and relevant corporate actions and developing relevant financial projections and company valuations/investment return analysis.

6. Assist the CFO for managing treasury operations: Oversee the company's cash management, including forecasting cash needs, managing cash balances, and investing excess cash.

7. Assist with corporate strategy and business planning: Work closely with senior management to develop and execute business strategies. Participate in strategic planning sessions and provide key financial analysis to inform decision-making.

8. Manage financial risk: Identify and manage financial risks to the company, including interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and credit risk.

9. Supervise junior finance staff: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior finance staff, including financial analysts and accountants. Ensure that staff are properly trained and have the resources they need to be successful.


Requirements

1. Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is typically required.

2. Experience: Typically, candidates for this position will have at least 4-6 years of experience in finance or deal advisory, with experience in the real estate industry preferred. Previous experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity may also be relevant.

3. Technical skills: Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis is essential, as is experienced with financial reporting and analysis tools such as Excel, financial databases, and accounting software. Experience with real estate financial modeling and analysis software.

4. Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position, as the senior associate will be responsible for communicating financial information to senior management, investors, and other stakeholders.

5. Analytical skills: The senior associate must have strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, perform complex financial analysis, and develop financial models to support decision-making for senior management.

6. Leadership skills: The senior associate will be responsible for supervising junior finance staff and leading projects, so strong leadership skills are essential.

7. Organizational skills: The senior associate must be highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

8. Attention to detail: Accuracy and attention to detail are essential for this position, as the senior associate will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis that will inform critical business decisions.
