Operation Director Hotel

 Job Description:

Main Responsibilities

Plan, direct, develop and determine all activities related to hotel business management through the preparation, implementation and evaluation of work plans, both short term, medium term and long term, which are aligned with the hotel business strategy in order to support the achievement of business targets through hotel operational activities reliable.

Key Activities

  • Plan, coordinate, execute and supervise strategic planning through the elaboration of work plans (action plans) for each work unit of the Hotel
  • Manage the performance of all divisions through a per system current form management, include coordinating the preparation of KPIs from each division by setting goals and objectives for each Hotel work unit
  • Ensuring the achievement of KPIs from each unit is aligned with the predetermined business strategy plans.
  • Develop and manage budgets in the hotel business.
  • Plan, direct and monitor the effectiveness of resources so that operations can run effectively and efficient.
  • Plan and manage the budgeting process based on work plans and programs to be implemented.
  • Directing, monitoring and evaluating program implementation and supervising budget absorption.
  • Prepare financial reports on a regular basis (monthly, quarterly, semester and annually) in the form of an executive summary to the Top Management regarding the performance of hotel management.
  • Ensure engineering operations of all mechanical and electrical equipment run normally and ensure that maintenance activities are carried out regularly.
  • Ensure that all activities provide excellent service, so that customer satisfaction is met.
  • Supervise and control all area operational activities in the Hotel environment area.

Other Responsibilities

  • Act as a company representative in signing legal documents.
  • Coordinate the fulfillment of all legal documents and applicable regulations and monitor their compliance.
  • Plan, implement and evaluate service programs to customers in order to maintain a good corporate image.
  • Ensuring that all complaints from customers can be resolved properly.
  • Build good coordination and cooperation with government and private agencies so as to create a harmonious cooperative relationship.
  • Fostering good relations with the community/society.
  • Controlling all operational activities in accordance with the hotel's business processes, policies and procedures (SOP).
  • Review business processes, policies and SOP procedures
  • Review and recommend corrective actions so that work processes become effective and efficient.
  • Ensuring the existence of employee development and regeneration programs
  • Controlling the ongoing employee development process, so that they have excellent and professional work performance and have humble behavior.
  • Supervise the human resource management process to achieve high work productivity and achieve company goal.

General Requirements



  • Minimum Bachelor or Master' Degree majoring in Business or Hospitality
  • Minimum 15 years' working experience in the hospitality industry, and minimum 5 years as Operation Director in big reputable company.
  • Able to set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
  • Able to establish policies that promote corporate culture and vision.
  • Able to lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
  • Able to manage relationships with partners and/or vendor
  • Strong in marketing, strategy, business operation, and management
