RPO - H&S Officer
Job Description:
Role Purpose
Assist H&S assistant manager to monitor & control all aspect related with health & safety in factory area to meet & comply with local regulatory & group policy
Main Duties:
1. Control & Monitor Health & Safety
· Conduct regular health & safety audit to ensure all working area is safe
· Conduct regular health & safety meeting with HS committee team members
· Conduct regular health & safety training for employees
· Conduct risk assessment in all activity
· Conduct inspection related to Health and Safety
2. Support other Dept.
· Support ECCR to monitor environment aspect (wastewater treatment and all environment parameter test)
· Provide correct Personal Protective Equipment for all employees
3. Ensure all legal aspect related Health & Safety
· Send regularly report for H&S Dept Head
· Conduct regularly measurement & make working environmental impact assessment report to government
· Conduct regularly inspection using third party to ensure all factory equipment meet with standard
4. Contractor management system
· Involved in all technical meeting with contractor and related department
· Conduct review Job safety analysis and Safety method statement
· Conduct review requirement of contractors
· Conduct safety induction to all contractors
· Conduct daily contractor audit
· Involved in post-performance review of contractor
5. Compliance
· Cooperate with third parties to conduct OHS-related inspection tests.
· Renew permits or licenses related to OHS
6. Environmental Aspect
Overseeing all activity within their team complies with the environmental policy and reviewing reports for further improvement.
Authorities
1. Stop work if unsafe/ not standard.
2. Send email to HOD if any violation regarding Health and Safety in their area.
3. Instruct HS Inspector id there is something urgent case.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related
Training: SMK3, Fire Fighter
Skill: English skills, H&S, General OHS expert
Experience:
Experience H&S minimum for 5 years
Health & Safety Expert (Government Permit)
