This position is responsible for developing and executing a human resource plan in support of the country
business plan and the strategic direction of the company.
Specific areas of responsibility will include recruitment, management planning, training & development,
performance management, compensation & benefits, compliance with statutory/legal requirements,
health & safety initiatives and employee retention and recognition programs
Coordinate, facilitate and support the company’s Human Resources policies, procedures and
program deployment.
Manage Performance Management Process:
1. Ensure employees fully understand the Performance Management process in the business.
2. Work with Business Partners to help them develop SMART objectives.
3. Provide advice to Business Partners in identifying suitable development plans for executive level
and below.

4. Maintain good collaboration with local universities and colleges to attract & recruit fresh
graduates.
Coordinate and deliver/facilitate development programs for executive level and below:
1. Internal and external training activities

Drive key annual HR Programs including pay planning, organizational human resources planning
process and follow up actions

Facilitate employee and manager communications and problem solving

Conduct new hire orientation, counselling, coaching and exit interviews

Analyze turnover trends and provide input on modifying programs - Talent Retention Program
Ensures adherence to applicable governmental regulations and local employment law – Provident
Fund, Income Tax, Industrial Relations, subject to local country statutory requirements. Initiate regular
audits to ensure operating companies comply with legal & statutory requirements.
Effective rollout of group/country HR initiatives
Prepare timely report on HR activities – i.e. monthly headcounts report, organization chart update etc.
Manage employee relations activities to improve employee’s engagement level; maintain professional
working relationship with relevant internal & external union representative. Act as company
representative in Union collective agreement negotiation.

Ensure compliance to policies and procedures relating to ISO 22000, in the conduct of departmental
activities to observe the Quality Management System and for continual improvement.
Support group & country HSSE initiatives by having good collaboration with appointment HSSE
representative to ensure all local HSSE requirements related to employees are being met and
adhered.
