Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cable Jointer to join our expanding team at IES Utilities Group T/A Nexus Power. Your duties will include jointing and terminating LV/HV cable, cable installation, cable repairs, and maintenance on both small and large commercial projects.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for cable jointing and terminations, earthing, and installation of high-voltage cable systems.
• Represent the company as a technical professional, ensuring that all cable systems are installed according to the relevant instructions and standards within the given time frame.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to health and safety procedures and receiving safety documentation as needed.
• Identify and eliminate any work hazards.

Desirable Criteria:

• CSCS qualifications
• NVQ Level 2 (OR EQUIVALENT)
• Driving Licence
• 2 years of experience as an LV/HV jointer
• Certificates for PFISTERER, NKT, EUSR, GWO WINDA would be beneficial
• Must be willing to travel for work
