What Youll Be Doing

• Develop and deliver high-quality features as a hands-on engineer within a performance-critical environment.

• Serve as a performance specialist, contributing to architectural and design discussions with a strong focus on latency, throughput, and system efficiency.

• Proactively identify performance bottlenecks across the stack and implement optimizations at the code, JVM, network, and system levels.

• Participate in the support rotation, troubleshoot production issues, and conduct deep-dive investigations into performance anomalies.

  
  

What Were Looking For

• Strong academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent STEM discipline.

• High versatility, rapid learning ability, and a passion for deep technical problem-solving.

• Ability to perform under pressure and excel in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.

• Excellent analytical thinking as well as strong communication and presentation skills.

• 3-10 years of experience in application development, ideally involving performance-sensitive or distributed systems.

• Bonus: Familiarity with Aeron, Disruptor, JVM internals, network stack behavior, low-level programming, or hardware architecture.
