My client, a leader in Hong Kong's financial services sector is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join as a Security Specialist and support the firms cybersecurity ecosystem including data protection, identity, access management, solution implementation, but not limited to.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with domain experts to design security frameworks, document technical specifications, and provide training and ongoing support to users.
• Protect information system assets by identifying, preventing, and addressing security incidents, conducting vulnerability assessments, and converting findings into practical recommendations.
• Assist in the deployment of security solutions, ensuring they meet requirements through collaboration with technical vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Support the documentation of business and IT processes, perform gap analyses, and create security policies and training resources.

Skills and Experience for success:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or related projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of computer systems, including operating systems, databases, networks, and cloud technologies, along with strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a preference for candidates with experience in client-facing roles.
• Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISA) and experience with security solutions and platforms such as Data Loss Prevention and Active Directory are highly desirable.
