The Role
As a Tech Lead, you'll play a key role in architecting, developing, and scaling our core banking infrastructure. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our banking systems meet security and compliance standards while delivering an outstanding customer experience. This is a leadership role that requires both technical expertise and strong team management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead & Build: Architect and develop our core banking systems using Golang or Ruby on Rails.
• Scale & Secure: Design and implement secure, scalable banking APIs following Open API specifications.
• Integrate & Innovate: Develop seamless integrations with payment networks, banking partners, and compliance systems (KYC/AML, FX exchange, treasury management).
• Ensure Compliance: Work with regulatory teams to meet banking standards.
• Lead Teams: Mentor and manage a team of engineers, fostering best practices in development and project execution.
• Drive Strategy: Align technical solutions with business goals while maintaining engineering excellence.

What Were Looking For:

• 8+ years of software development experience (5+ in fintech or banking)
• 3+ years leading engineering teams (5+ developers)
• Strong expertise in Golang or Ruby on Rails
• Deep knowledge of banking operations, payments, and financial systems
• Experience implementing KYC/AML and compliance frameworks
• Background in microservices, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and security best practices
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with ThoughtMachine, Audax, Temenos, or other banking SaaS
• Knowledge of ISO 20022, PSD2, real-time payments, or blockchain
• Experience leading remote or distributed teams
