Sr. Support Analyst (FIX Connectivity)

 Job Description:

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Daily trading operations support for various trading desks of High Touch & Low Touch cash Equities, SWAP desk and F&O desk.

  • FIX testing & certifications of FIX clients, FIX vendors, FIX brokers, internal & external dark & lit pools & exchanges.

  • Work with infra teams to setup connectivity between external parties with the firm and able to maintain FIX network relationship.

  • Lead Support Analyst will also be working in shifts to support Asia / US and Europe markets.

  • Lead Support analyst will be working in close with FIX team in Pune, US and Australia

  • Perform other trade support functions when needed.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline(s)

  • Minimum of 5 years proficiency in FIX technology with good experienc 

    in FIX certification and FIX client on-boarding, preferably in

    Broker Dealer environment
  • Proven experience in Cameron FIX or Appia or other FIX engines

  • Excellent knowledge of Cash Equity business, SWAP, Future & Options business in a DMA/DSA, Agency and Program FIX environment
  • Good understanding of Trade Flow systems needed for DMA/DSA trade booking especially in ID markets like CONNECT, Korea, Taiwan and India
  • Good knowledge of exchange rules of Asian markets

  • Good understanding of Order Management Systems like Fidessa, Flextrade etc
  • Good understanding of Front end systems like Bloomberg, ITG etc

  • Good exposure in FIX testing tools like VeriFIX

  • Good exposure in FIX monitoring tools like KIBANA, Grafana, Logstash, Elastic search, ITRS, etc
  • Good exposure in change & incident management tools like SNOW

  • Must be self-starter and be able to work independently

  • Excellent communications skills and the ability to interact with Vendors and Traders
