My client, a IT service provider in the Wealth management and Private Banking industry for financial products is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join them in Hong Kong. You'll work with a dynamic hands-on team and collaborate closely with both the product and software engineers to improve the platforms stability and users experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of distributed software.
• Collaborate with the support and operations team to perform second-level analysis and resolve production issues.
• Work closely with the product team to develop and document test plans, including scenarios, test cases, and success criteria.
• Support the operations team in deploying new software releases following established release processes.
• Develop and enhance both manual and automated testing procedures for user interfaces, data, and services.

Key Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in executing and developing QA/testing scenarios.
• Proficient in web/UI testing and familiar with messaging and event-driven architectures, including REST and HTTP.
• Strong understanding of both manual and automated testing best practices.
• Ability to identify opportunities for test automation effectively.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium and Cucumber is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of trading or transactional systems is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
