The candidate is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure and systems within a global financial institution which has well-established in Hong Kong.
1. Security Infrastructure Design: Design and implement the organization's security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, data encryption, and authentication systems.
2. Vulnerability Management: Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the organization's IT systems.
3. Security Policies and Procedures: Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
4. Security Monitoring and Detection: Deploy and manage security monitoring tools to detect and respond to potential security breaches and threats.
Requirements:
1. Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field is typically required. A master's degree in a relevant discipline may be preferred for senior positions.
2. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, databases, and cloud computing platforms. Proficiency in security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and vulnerability scanning tools.
3. Security Certifications: Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are highly valued.
