Key Responsibilities

• Threat Landscape Understanding :Analyze the company's threat landscape and apply relevant security controls.
• Operational Oversight: Manage existing security products in production environments.
• Security Changes Management: Oversee security modifications in hybrid, multi-cloud, and on-premises environments.
• Automation and Scalability: Implement automated and scalable security systems, processes, and controls.
• Security Monitoring: Continuously monitor security throughout the organization.
• Security as a Business Enabler: Advocate for treating security as a facilitator of business operations.
• Team Leadership and Mentoring: Lead and mentor team members in security practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in security engineering; candidates with less experience may qualify for a junior Security Operations Engineer role.
• Security Engineering Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of security engineering concepts.
• Experience in mentoring or leading teams within the cybersecurity field.
• Strong background in operating systems, cloud technologies, and network engineering.
• Understanding of offensive security from an adversarial perspective.
