We are seeking a Mid–Senior Software Engineer (C++ / Rust) to join the Front Office technology team at Pulsar Trading, operating within a high-frequency trading (HFT) environment. This role combines strong hands-on software engineering with light technical leadership responsibilities, including mentoring junior engineers and supporting production trading systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance, low-latency trading systems
  
• Support production (BAU) systems and implement system enhancements
• Work closely with traders and Front Office stakeholders to deliver requirements
• Mentor and guide junior engineers (initially 1–3 team members, with potential
  expansion)
• Contribute to system reliability, performance tuning, and continuous improvement
• Participate in design discussions and provide input on architecture decisions

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in C++ and/or Rust
• Experience in low-latency or performance-critical systems is a strong advantage
• Background in trading, fintech, gaming, crypto, or banking is welcome
• Prior experience in mentoring or technical leadership is highly desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
