My client, a premier global proprietary trading firm known for its high-performance culture and cutting-edge technology, is seeking a Python Developer to join the Trading team. You'll sit at the intersection of technology and trading, collaborating directly with Traders and Quants to build mission-critical tools that drive real-time market decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and scale a robust Python framework used for custom automation and live data access.
• Work side-by-side with the front office to translate complex trading strategies into efficient code.
• Manage projects from initial requirement gathering through to production delivery.
• Evangelize high-quality software engineering standards, including automated testing and peer code reviews.
• Provide high-level technical support for the trading ecosystem when required.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of professional experience building production-grade applications and libraries.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and software design patterns.
• Previous experience in a Front Office, Quant, or Trading Systems environment is highly preferred.
• A University degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• Fluent English skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
