We are seeking a passionate and skilled Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in Java development to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring that our technology solutions effectively meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
  • Work closely with Java developers to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
  • Conduct impact analysis and assist in designing efficient business processes.
  • Facilitate communication between business units and IT, ensuring clarity and understanding of requirements.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide insights on market trends, system integrations, and best practices.
  • Support testing efforts, including developing test cases and conducting user acceptance testing.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to strategic initiatives.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including requirement specifications, user guides, and system diagrams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in degree in Procurement, Information Technology, or Computer Science; CIPS qualification is preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in technology procurement and vendor management, ideally within the financial services industry, insurance, or similar sectors
  • Knowledge of managing various IT categories, including hardware, software, telecommunications, and professional services, along with strong contract negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proven experience in leading RFx projects with effective stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to identify user requirements and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Insight into financial regulatory standards, basic contract law, and fundamental accounting principles..
  • Understanding of procurement policies, best practices, and familiarity with procurement software tools.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
