Inside Sales Engineer
Job Description:
We're looking for a proactive and technically inclined Inside Sales Engineer to join a growing team in the automotive and industrial machinery parts sector. If you have a passion for technical sales and thrive on converting inbound leads into valuable business opportunities, this role is for you.
As the first technical point of contact for incoming marketing-generated leads, you'll guide prospects through the solution discovery process, qualify their needs, and collaborate with external sales and marketing teams to drive conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound inquiries from marketing campaigns, the website, webinars, trade shows, etc.
- Qualify leads by understanding their technical requirements, project scope, and decision timelines
- Provide technical insights and recommend suitable product or spare part solutions
- Prepare and send accurate proposals, quotations, and relevant documentation
- Collaborate with marketing on feedback loops and lead nurturing strategy
- Maintain all communications and sales activity in the CRM system (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Work closely with the outside sales team or channel partners for lead handoff
- Follow up consistently to progress leads through the sales funnel
- Analyze lead quality, conversion performance, and identify ABM (Account-Based Marketing) opportunities
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or equivalent technical background
- 1-3 years of experience in technical inside sales, sales engineering, or customer support

- High technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain product offerings
