Role Overview
Our client is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator with solid experience in handling both freezone and mainland logistics operations.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and familiar with government procedures, customs documentation, and cross-border coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate local and international shipments (air, sea, and land) for import/export
- Liaise with customs, freight forwarders, and clearing agents to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Handle all documentation related to freezone and mainland clearances, including invoices, packing lists, delivery orders, etc.
- Apply for and follow up on government approvals such as customs clearance, municipality permits, and trade-related authorizations
- Track shipments, update internal teams and customers with delivery timelines
- Maintain records of inventory movement, shipment files, and regulatory documentation
- Work with internal teams (sales, service, accounts) to ensure smooth order execution
- Stay updated on UAE trade regulations, freezone guidelines, and customs processes
Candidate Profile
- 1-3 years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role in the UAE
- Good knowledge of UAE logistics procedures, especially within freezones and mainland operations
- Familiarity with Dubai Customs, import/export procedures, and trade regulations
- Strong communication and coordination skills
