Role Overview

Our client is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator with solid experience in handling both freezone and mainland logistics operations.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and familiar with government procedures, customs documentation, and cross-border coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate local and international shipments (air, sea, and land) for import/export
  • Liaise with customs, freight forwarders, and clearing agents to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Handle all documentation related to freezone and mainland clearances, including invoices, packing lists, delivery orders, etc.
  • Apply for and follow up on government approvals such as customs clearance, municipality permits, and trade-related authorizations
  • Track shipments, update internal teams and customers with delivery timelines
  • Maintain records of inventory movement, shipment files, and regulatory documentation
  • Work with internal teams (sales, service, accounts) to ensure smooth order execution
  • Stay updated on UAE trade regulations, freezone guidelines, and customs processes

Candidate Profile

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role in the UAE
  • Good knowledge of UAE logistics procedures, especially within freezones and mainland operations
  • Familiarity with Dubai Customs, import/export procedures, and trade regulations
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to handle multiple shipments and documentation with accuracy

  • Proficient in MS Office and basic ERP/inventory systems
