Purpose of the position:

The Core Banking System Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and enhancing core banking solutions utilizing the Temenos Transact platform. S/he is responsible for overseeing the architecture of the T24 applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives, operational stability, scalability, and adherence to best practices. Her/his expertise drives innovation, performance optimization, and high-quality solutions delivery to meet business needs.

General responsibilities:

  • Understand and support the Credo philosophy and objectives.
  • Do all within their ability to meet targets set by the supervisor and work unceasingly to enable the organization to meet its goal.
  • Conduct all activities in compliance with Credo policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate loyalty to Credo and practice a high level of honesty & integrity.
  • Protect the material values of the organization per the credo consumption policy.
  • Attend information security training and sign an information security consent statement (signature confirmation that a breach of any part of the application is considered a Violation of duties and responsibilities, which causes disciplinary action).
  • Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of products within Temenos Core Banking System solutions, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and integration requirements. Designing and configuring financial transaction models, including defining transaction types, rules, and workflows to meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging the Temenos platform capabilities.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to T24 App Admin and T24 Development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
  • Integration: Work with other team members to design and implement integrations between T24 and other systems within the enterprise ecosystem.
  • Customization and Configuration: Oversee the customization and configuration of the T24 products/applications to meet specific business needs, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities for performance optimization and scalability improvements within the Temenos application stack, proactively addressing bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, testers, project managers, etc., to ensure successful delivery of Temenos projects.
  • Training, Support, and Testing: Provide training sessions and ongoing support to business and internal teams to ensure the smooth adoption and operation of Temenos solutions. Participating in system testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting efforts to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, service integration documents, and user manuals, ensuring the knowledge base is complete and current.
  • Monitoring: Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to allow responsible teams to continuously monitor the performance and health of the existing and new products and processes in the environments, ensuring timely detection and resolution of any issues or anomalies     
    
    Other duties:
  • Coordinating change management activities and ensuring adherence to the CM process.
  • Adhere to T24 Core Banking Application standards.
  • Review, control, and validate changes performed by the T24 App Admin team.
  • Review and ensure OFS message standards.
  • Control and optimize T24 Application Administrators workflow.
  • Maintain appropriate reporting for the management.
    
     Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
  • 5+ years of experience working with Temenos products.
  • 3+ years of experience working/configuring modules within Temenos Transact.
  • Good knowledge of banking processes.
  • Excellent understanding of Temenos applications architecture (based on the products used)
  • At least a bachelors degree in IT or Finance.
  • General knowledge of finance and accounting.
  • Good knowledge of the ITIL service delivery model. Certification is preferred.
  • Ground understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken English/Russian.
  • Self-management skills.
  • Team player.
