We're Hiring: Senior Fire Protection Engineer
Location: New Cairo
Working Days: Sunday to Thursday
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible)

We are currently hiring a Senior Fire Protection Engineer for a reputable company based in New Cairo. We are looking for a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in fire protection system design for industrial and commercial projects, as well as proven expertise in technical coordination, code compliance, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review fire protection system designs and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable fire safety codes, standards, and client requirements
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams throughout all project phases
• Review shop drawings and technical submissions to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance
• Liaise with Civil Defense authorities for approvals and regulatory compliance
• Support the successful delivery of projects while maintaining technical excellence and fire safety standards

Requirements

• 8–15+ years of experience in fire protection engineering and design
• Strong experience in industrial and commercial projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM workflows
• In-depth knowledge of fire codes and standards, including NFPA and Egyptian Civil Defense regulations
• Hands-on experience in firefighting systems, including:
  • Sprinkler systems
  • Hydrant systems
  • Fire alarm systems
  • Fire suppression systems
• Strong coordination experience across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines
• Fluent English is a must, as it is the working language
• Must be registered with the Egyptian Engineering Syndicate
• Experience in large-scale EPC projects is highly preferred
• Previous experience with Chinese EPC companies is a plus
