Floor Staff Leader (Assistant Manager Level)

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Industry: Food & Beverage

Salary: 20,000 - 30,000 

Working Hours (2 shifts): 

• 10:30 AM 8:30 PM (with frequent overtime)
• 11:30 AM 9:30 PM (with occasional overtime)
• About once a month, staff may finish as late as 11:30 PM depending on customers.

Shift-based schedule, with rotating shifts as assigned
1 day off per week (not fixed on weekends)

Description:

• Perform general floor staff duties such as:
  • Greeting and welcoming guests
  • Taking orders and serving food and drinks
  • Explaining menu items and making recommendations
  • Handling payments and bills
  • Keeping the dining area tidy and prepared for service
    
• Supervision and management of floor staff during shifts
• Assigning tasks and giving instructions to junior staff
• Customer service and guest relations (Japanese, Thai, and international clientele)
• Handling reservations and coordinating seating arrangements
• Monitoring and managing inventory of beverages, utensils, and supplies
• Placing purchase orders for necessary items
• Coordinating with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Handling guest complaints and providing solutions in a professional manner
• Training and mentoring new and junior staff members
• Ensuring hygiene and safety standards are maintained in the restaurant
• Supporting kitchen or dishwashing staff when necessary as part of the team
  

Requirements:

• English communication skills for interacting with clients
• Previous experience in restaurants or hotels as a floor/wait staff
• Izakaya or casual dining service experience is also welcomed
• Team-oriented, flexible, and hands-on personality
