Japanese Interpreter (Assist to Manager)

Location: Nakhon Pathom, Thailand

Industry: Agricultural Products Importer and Exporter

Salary: 40,000 - 60,000 THB/Month

Working Days: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Job Description:

• Interpret between Japanese and Thai (or English) for factory management and staff, including technical and operational terminology.
• Support communication between Japanese suppliers/partners and Thai teams during factory operations.
• Provide interpretation during meetings, inspections, and training sessions within the factory.
• Translate documents, emails, and reports related to production, logistics, and quality control.
• Assist in preparing bilingual documentation for import/export processes and compliance requirements.
• Facilitate smooth daily communication across departments to ensure efficient workflow.
• Support Japanese management with administrative tasks, scheduling, and internal communication.
  
• Ensure interpretation and translations are accurate, timely, and context-appropriate for factory and agricultural operations.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Japanese interpreter, with a minimum of 1 year in a factory setting.
• Proficient in Japanese at a business level (JLPT N2 or higher).
• Business-level English proficiency is an advantage.\
• Experience in interpreting for management-level meetings and discussions.
• Familiar with technical terms related to factory operations and management.
• Able to create clear and effective documents.
• Possess a personal car and able to commute to work.
