Position: Application Support

Location: Silom, Bangkok

Working day: Mon-Fri (1 Sat/Month till Dec 2025)

Working hour: 8.30 - 17.30

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor performance and availability of Java applications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure stability and security.
  • Investigate and resolve application-related issues reported by users.
  • Provide root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.
  • Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support for application functionality.
  • Document solutions and create user guides or FAQs as needed.
  • Work closely with development teams to escalate bugs or enhancement requests.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure and database teams for system-level troubleshooting.
  • Assist in deploying new versions of applications and managing configuration settings.
  • Support testing and validation during release cycles.
  • Maintain detailed records of incidents, resolutions, and system changes.
  • Update technical documentation and support procedures regularly.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years in an application support or software maintenance role.
  • Exposure to enterprise systems or large-scale applications.
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong understanding of Java technologies.
  • Familiarity with application servers (e.g., Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss).
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL).
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with ITIL processes or ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) is a plus.
