Senior Project Engineer

Industry: Manufacturing

Location: Samut Prakarn

Working Day: Mon-Fri, 07:45 - 17:30 (Saturday or Sunday work may be required for some projects)

Responsibility:

• Assist the immediate superior in reviewing contracts for new projects.
• Verify customer-supplied items to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
• Prepare parts specifications.
• Prepare approval samples and related documents, and follow up with customers for parts approval.
• Assist in setting up production processes for new projects.
• Recommend quality improvement measures to the immediate superior.
• Conduct technical discussions and briefings for internal departments (Production/QA) and vendors.
• Source and coordinate with vendors to support production development for new projects.
• Perform all necessary tasks to meet project schedules on time, working with both vendors and internal departments.
• Assist in repairing and modifying current production tooling with vendors and internal teams in the shortest time possible.
• Understand and apply IATF, FMEA, SPC, APQP, MSA, and PPAP requirements.
• Conduct new project/product reviews for company orientation and preparation, and lead the APQP team for new projects.
• Apply knowledge and skills in 5S & Small Kaizen, QCC activities, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001.

Qualification:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
• Good command of English (TOEIC score over 550 is an advantage).
• Experience in the automotive or plastic industry and knowledge of IATF 16949.
• Strong leadership skills, a team player, with a positive attitude and logical thinking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
• Able to read technical drawings.
