Position : Junior Lawyer

About company :
Japanese law firm with offices across Japan and an international presence in Thailand. Our Bangkok office provides legal services in corporate law, labor law, commercial contracts, litigation, and compliance

Work Location : Khlong Toei, Bangkok

Working Hours : Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM 5:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to Japanese corporate clients on Thai law matters, including corporate, commercial, labor, and compliance issues
• Draft, review, and revise contracts, agreements, and internal regulations in both Thai and English
• Conduct legal research and prepare reports, memoranda, and legal opinions for clients and senior lawyers
• Assist in dispute resolution, litigation, and negotiation processes under the supervision of senior lawyers
• Handle company registrations, licensing, and regulatory filings with Thai authorities
• Communicate with government offices, courts, and regulators on behalf of clients

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Law (LL.B.)
• Licensed Thai lawyer
• 1-3 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department (experience in corporate or labor law preferred)
• Strong drafting and communication skills in Thai and English (spoken and written)
• Ability to conduct legal research and analyze laws/regulations effectively
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work in a small, close-knit team environment

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: 30,000 - 40,000 THB/month (depending on experience)
• Probation: 3 months
• Social Security: Provided
• Group Medical Insurance: Not provided
• Provident Fund: Not provided
• Annual Leave: 6 days per year (after 1 year, as per Thai labor law)
• Bonus: Once a year, based on company performance
• Transportation Allowance: Up to THB 200/day (after probation)
