Senior HR Consultant

 Job Description:

We're looking for a seasoned Senior HR Consultant to support a mining operation in Limpopo on a 3-month contract, bringing immediate expertise, practical leadership, and strong labour relations experience to the business.

This opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced HR professional who has spent years operating within mining, heavy industry, or unionised environments and can quickly step in and add value from day one.

We're looking for someone who has experience with:

  • Union engagement and collective bargaining
  • Employee relations, disciplinary processes, grievances, and dispute resolution
  • CCMA matters and labour law compliance
  • Workforce planning and organisational development
  • Change management and restructuring initiatives
  • Performance management and talent development
  • Employment Equity, BBBEE, Skills Development, and regulatory compliance
  • HR reporting, audits, and workforce analytics

Requirements:

  • 8–15 years' HR experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within mining or heavy industry
  • Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation
  • Experience working with organised labour and union structures
  • Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field
  • Ability to travel to mining operations when required
