Maintenance Manager

 Job Description:

The Maintenance Manager: Private Space is responsible for leading, coordinating, and managing all operational aspects of CCTV installations and the ongoing maintenance of existing surveillance sites.

This role ensures that installation projects and maintenance operations are delivered efficiently, safely, on time, and within budget, while meeting defined service levels, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The role also oversees resource planning, contractor and team performance, and continuous service delivery aligned with client expectations and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Coordination

  • Plan, schedule, and manage Private Space CCTV installation projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and technical specifications.

Maintenance Operations

  • Manage preventative and corrective maintenance for existing Private Space surveillance sites.
  • Monitor and respond to NMS tickets and escalations, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Track system health and performance metrics to proactively identify and resolve recurring issues.
  • Ensure maximum system uptime and operational reliability.

Service Level Management

  • Define and formalise service level agreements (SLAs) with internal teams, contractors, and where applicable, clients.
  • Implement tools, systems, or dashboards to monitor SLA performance.
  • Review operational reports to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Escalate non-compliance and drive corrective actions.

Team & Contractor Management

  • Lead and supervise installation and maintenance teams, including external contractors.
  • Allocate work, set performance expectations, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and support to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance.

Operational Excellence

  • Continuously assess and improve operational workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Work closely with the Control Room to ensure effective operational handovers.
  • Define and manage processes for both managed and unmanaged Private Space services.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety, regulatory, and technical standards across all activities.
