An established commercial and industrial property company is seeking a motivated Trainee Supervisor to join its operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop supervisory skills within a manufacturing environment while gaining hands-on experience in production, stock control, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all health and safety procedures and wear the required PPE.
• Supply materials and tools to the production team.
• Assist with daily housekeeping by ensuring the factory and work areas remain clean and organised.
• Assist the Glass Cutter during production.
• Pack cut glass safely and neatly into storage racks.
• Assist with loading trucks when required.
• Assist with the manufacturing of glass sets.
• Learn to safely operate the overhead gantry crane.
• Process glass off-cuts and minimise waste.
• Ensure machinery is kept clean and in good working order.
• Monitor glass stock usage and oversee production inventory.
• Participate in regular stock takes.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties within the scope of the role.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of workplace health and safety practices.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
