Job Description:
Duties & Responsibilities
Proposal Management
- Design, review, and edit requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
- Interview business stakeholders and define solutions per requirements.
- Develop and present final solutions to management.
- Prepare draft solution costing for sign-off.
- Manage internal alignment and interpretation of proposed process changes.
New Systems Requirements / Project Specific
- Conduct requirements-gathering sessions, workshops, and demos.
- Define and document system/reporting requirements into a specification format and raise RFS for development by IT.
- Define testing requirements and assist with testing and monitoring.
- Produce high-quality specification documents.
- Investigate ad hoc queries, assist in data interpretation, and present results.
Project Management
- Register internal and external projects.
- Document project charters.
- Draft schedules and arrange kick-off meetings.
- Manage project and budget sign-offs.
- Oversee project execution and training.
- Review and prepare project documents, including SOPs, sign-off documents, and manuals.
- Conduct project handovers to users (internal and external).
- Perform project post-mortems.
- Mentor junior team members and potentially grow into a leadership position.
Internal Tasks/Projects and Ad-Hoc Tasks
- Manage project scope changes.
- Address and resolve project-specific queries.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field (Information Sciences, Technology, or Industrial Engineering).
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with full proficiency in the discipline.
- Strong ability to capture business needs in a structured, professional manner and translate them into clear, actionable documents for business, IT, and clients.
- Agile experience beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Solid understanding of business processes and the systems development lifecycle.
- Experience in user acceptance testing (UAT) and test case design.
- Development experience advantageous.
