Technical Project Manager – Systems & Infrastructure
Job Description:
We are looking for a delivery-focused Technical Project Manager to drive systems, infrastructure, and business implementation projects across the organisation.
This role combines enterprise systems implementations, operational technology projects, integrations, infrastructure rollouts, and business transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project delivery from initiation to closeout, and operate confidently within a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
The role requires someone who can balance strong project governance with practical delivery execution across both technical and operational projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, governance, and delivery of systems, infrastructure, operational, and business implementation projects across the organisation.
- Drive enterprise software deployments, integrations, rollout initiatives, and operational technology projects from initiation through to closeout.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including IT, operations, facilities, finance, vendors, contractors, and business teams.
- Translate business and operational requirements into structured project plans, work breakdown structures, timelines, governance controls, and delivery milestones.
- Manage project schedules, dependencies, risks, RAID logs, reporting, budgets, and stakeholder communication across multiple concurrent projects.
- Facilitate collaboration between technical specialists, operational teams, vendors, and leadership to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Support proof-of-concept initiatives, pilot rollouts, implementation testing, user acceptance activities, and operational handovers.
- Drive project cadence, accountability, and delivery momentum while proactively resolving blockers and escalation points.
- Prepare executive-level reporting, project updates, risk assessments, and implementation status presentations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project methodologies, governance standards, implementation processes, and delivery frameworks.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience delivering end-to-end technology, systems implementation, infrastructure, or enterprise transformation projects.
- Proven experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, integrations, operational dependencies, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology environments, including systems integrations, APIs, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
- Practical experience working within project management methodologies such as PMBOK, Agile, SDLC, PRINCE2, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery frameworks.
- Experience using project delivery and governance tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Monday.com, Kanban boards, RAID logs, or similar platforms.
- Strong project structuring capability, including work breakdown structures, dependency planning, milestone management, and implementation governance.
- Ability to operate independently and confidently within a demanding, fast-paced delivery environment.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving capability.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.

- Previous experience within IT operations, infrastructure, systems administration, or enterprise technology environments.
- Exposure to enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, middleware, procurement, facilities, or operational systems.
- Experience managing infrastructure, facilities technology, smart building, access control, security technology, or operational rollout projects.
