Office Administrator
Job Description:
We are seeking an organised, reliable and professional Office Administrator to provide day-to-day administrative and operational support.
This junior-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across different areas of a business. Responsibilities will include reception, stock coordination, general office administration, personnel records and supporting HR and SHEQ documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and dispatch day-to-day and project-related stock.
- Allocate received stock to the relevant project or client and notify the appropriate project team.
- Arrange stock collections and deliveries when required.
- Answer and direct incoming calls and take accurate messages.
- Welcome and assist visitors as the first point of contact at reception.
- Print, organise and file documents in the correct files and folders.
- Arrange employee and contractor medicals and inductions when required.
- Maintain accurate and organised employee personnel records.
- Assist with HR administration, including personal documents, visas and related records.
- Print, compile and maintain SHEQ and project safety files.
- Monitor daily cleaning duties and ensure the required standards are maintained.
- Provide general administrative support to departments and employees.
- Maintain accurate, organised and confidential records.
- Perform other reasonable administrative duties assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12/Matric.
- At least one year of working experience in an administrative or office-support environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Accurate filing and record-keeping abilities.
A certificate or diploma in Administration, Office Management or a related field would be advantageous.
