Office Administrator

 Job Description:

We are seeking an organised, reliable and professional Office Administrator to provide day-to-day administrative and operational support.

This junior-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across different areas of a business. Responsibilities will include reception, stock coordination, general office administration, personnel records and supporting HR and SHEQ documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and dispatch day-to-day and project-related stock.
  • Allocate received stock to the relevant project or client and notify the appropriate project team.
  • Arrange stock collections and deliveries when required.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls and take accurate messages.
  • Welcome and assist visitors as the first point of contact at reception.
  • Print, organise and file documents in the correct files and folders.
  • Arrange employee and contractor medicals and inductions when required.
  • Maintain accurate and organised employee personnel records.
  • Assist with HR administration, including personal documents, visas and related records.
  • Print, compile and maintain SHEQ and project safety files.
  • Monitor daily cleaning duties and ensure the required standards are maintained.
  • Provide general administrative support to departments and employees.
  • Maintain accurate, organised and confidential records.
  • Perform other reasonable administrative duties assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12/Matric.
  • At least one year of working experience in an administrative or office-support environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Accurate filing and record-keeping abilities.

A certificate or diploma in Administration, Office Management or a related field would be advantageous.
